Abstract
The contact resistance of polycrystalline Y-Ba-Cu-O systems may be imp ortant for technical applications and, for example, the catalytic beha viour of this oxide system. In order to study the behaviour of Y-Ba-Cu -O systems both in their normal state and during catalysis, a complex measuring system was constructed. Variations in the electric conductiv ity of samples were measured both in vacuum and in various gaseous atm ospheres in the temperature range 77-700 K.
