D. Vanneck et al., NUCLEAR OVERLAP FUNCTIONS DETERMINED BY THE ASYMPTOTIC-BEHAVIOR OF THE ONE-BODY DENSITY-MATRIX, Physical review. C. Nuclear physics, 56(3), 1997, pp. 1398-1409
Single-particle overlap functions and spectroscopic factors are calcul
ated using the asymptotic behavior in coordinate space of the one-body
density matrix corresponding to a many-body wave function in correlat
ed basis function theory. We include state-dependent correlation funct
ions and discriminate between the effects of central, spin-spin, and t
ensor correlations. The method is applied to O-16. We also discuss the
effect of center-of-mass motion on the calculated spectroscopic facto
rs.
