Abstract
The new species Rudgea grandifructa C. hi. Taylor & Ph. Monsalve is de scribed and illustrated, and expanded descriptions are presented for t he poorly known species Psychotria megistophylla Standley and Rudgea c olombiana Standley. All are from the Choco phytogeographic region; thi s work is based on specimens collected for the floristic inventory of the Bajo Calima region, Valle, Colombia.
