Abstract
A new species, Cycas lindstromii, is described from Binh Thuan in sout hern Vietnam. It is allied to C. siamensis, but distinguished by its s ubterranean trunk, elongated megasporophyll, and shorter, keeled leaf. The new species is illustrated, and its distribution, ecology, and co nservation status are discussed.
