Abstract
Three dimensional electromagnetic induction, due to time variations of geomagnetic field, is a part of low frequency electromagnetic environ ment of coastal areas. In this paper, a 3D nodal finite element modell ing using complex scalar and vector potentials is presented. This mode l, implemented in Flux Expert software, is first checked against other numerical methods for various simple geometries to determine its accu racy.
