Abstract
Scores on the Multidimensional Sense or Humor Scale (MSHS) are shown t o be related positively to a number of factors associated with psychol ogical health. such as optimism and self esteem, and negatively with s igns of psychological distress such as depression. Humor is a multidim ensional construct that seems to be intimately related to quality of l ife. (C) 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
