Abstract
The demagnetizing field inside a ringcore sensor has been solved numer ically and the performance of a ringcore magnetometer has been analyze d under triangular-current excitations. The gated signals appear at th e knees of the magnetization curves where maximum nonlinearity occurs. The gated signals show constant amplitude whose width decreases linea rly with the applied DC signal.
