Abstract
The proposed electromagnetic-wave absorber is based on the fact that t
he high matching frequency of a carbonyl iron-loaded one-leger rubber
wave absorber decreases as the thickness or permittivity of the ferroe
lectric substance layer in front of it increases. A proposed two-layer
wave absorber with a carbonyl iron-loaded rubber and 0.5-mm titanate
system has a return lass of 29 dB at 0.9 GHz. The matching frequency c
an easily designed to any frequency in quasi-microwave-band by control
ling the thickness of ferroelectric substance layer. It is suitable fo
r quasi-microwave-band application.
