The direct separation of beta-aminoester enantiomers by HPLC on synthe
tic chiral stationary phases based on a pi-acidic derivative of trans
1,2-diaminocyclohexane as selector is described. The application of di
fferent columns containing the stationary phase with opposite configur
ations and in the racemic form to the determination of enantiomeric ex
