Abstract
This article presents a new clip-applier characterized by its reusable construction with interchangeable disposable clip storage magazines c ontaining eight titanium clips. The advantage of this multi-fire clip- applier is evident in laparoscopy under the conditions of pneumoperito neum because the clips are loaded intra-abdominally. Gas losses as see n during introductions through special trocars when changing the clips outside the abdomen are missing. The authors discuss the technical fe atures of the instrument in detail.
