Ground state energies and decay widths of particle-unstable nuclei are
calculated within the Hartree-Fock approximation by performing a comp
lex scaling of the many-body Hamiltonian. Because of this transformati
on, the wave functions of the resonant states are square integrable. T
he method is implemented with Skyrme effective interactions. Several S
kyrme parametrizations are tested on four unstable nuclei: He-10, O-12
, O-26, and O-28.
