Abstract
We study the influence of a thermal gradient on a chemical reaction pr ocess with a physical model compatible with a Hamiltonian origin. We s how that making the thermal gradient large enough has the effect of pr oducing slow motion and fractal time statistics. (C) 1997 Elsevier Sci ence B.V.
