Abstract
A method that uses an integral form of the perturbed nonlinear Schrodi nger equation is presented. This method is used to demonstrate the eff ect of dissipative perturbation on the solution of the nonlinear Schro dinger equation. This equation is associated with propagation of light in optical fibers. Results front the application of this method are r eplicas of what has been generated through an existing method.
