Abstract
Micellar models, molecular volumes and error analysis of the fitting p rograms are discussed from the point of view of the reliability of the micellar aggregation numbers obtained from SANS. Comparison of aggreg ation numbers published by different authors indicates essential coher ence; differences may be caused by the improper choice of the molecula r volumes and by the incompleteness of the micellar models applied.
