Abstract
The bark and leaves of Geijera paniculata have yielded two common acid ic constituents, eriostoic and eriostemoic acids, and a novel coumarin , whose structure was established on the basis of spectral data, as ox y)-2',2'-dimethylpyrano-[3,2-g]-benzopyran-2-one (trivial name, 8-O-(3 -methylbut-2-enyl)xanthoxyletin.
