Abstract
Two hundred layers of assembled LB films by using 2-nitro-5-(N-methyl- N-octadecylamino) benzoic acid(NMOB) and arachidic acid were prepared. Its Second Harmonic intensity was quadratically increasing with the n umber of NMOB layers. The different orientations; of NMOB in this asse mbled LB films and in its Y-type films were also discussed in this pap er.
