Abstract
We have measured the temperature dependence of the DC electrical resis tivity and susceptibility in the interval 4.2-300 K for Nd1-xCaxSr2Cu2 FeOdelta(x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3). Analysis of the results showed th e density of states to be a strong function of x, indicating the exist ence of short range fluctuations near the Fermi level E(F). The magnet ic susceptibility, however, shows the oxidation state of Fe remains at + 3 for x greater-than-or-equal-to 0.
