A large single crystal of the singlet-ground-state compound TmSb was p
repared by the Bridgeman method in a tungsten crucible. Electrical res
istivity, magnetoresistivity, Hall effect, susceptibility and specific
heat under magnetic field were measured in the temperature range 1.6
K less-than-or-equal-to T less-than-or-equal-to 300 K using samples cu
t from a large single crystal. Experimental results are discussed in t
erms of crystalline-electric-field theory.
