CONTRIBUTION TO THE COORDINATION CHEMISTRY OF TECHNETIUM .2. COMPLEXES OF TECHNETIUM(I) WITH SELECTED LIGANDS CONTAINING N, O AND S DONOR ATOMS

The universal use of radiopharmaceuticals labeled with Tc-99m has led to the development of many Te complexes containing Tc-99m(4+) or Tc-99 m(5+). In order to assess the correlation between the physiological pr operties and the chemical structure of a Tc-99m complex, milligram amo unts of the corresponding long-lived Tc-99g,,pound have to be synthesi zed and analysed. This report describes the synthesis and characteriza tion of several new technetium complexes with ligands containing N, O and S as donor atoms.
