Abstract
Radiometric X-ray fluorescence analysis was used for the determination of Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn and Pb in wastewater and sludges from three wastewa ter treatment plants in Bratislava (SR). Metals were determined in was tewaters after preconcentration by 8-hydroxyquinoline and in sludges b y drying and pressing to pellets. Pu-238 and Cd-109 was used for excit ation of fluorescence radiation.
