Abstract
The case of a young girl with severe hemoptysis in a Kartagener's synd rome is described. Because bronchoscopy failed to locate the origin of the bleeding, preoperative angiography was performed. The patient was treated by resection of the middle lobe. The bronchus wall was locate d as the origin of bleeding. (C) 1997 by The Society of Thoracic Surge ons.
