Abstract
We have developed a multiple magnetoresistive sensor as an alternative to a Hall sensor for use in mapping the magnetic field in the vicinit y of a superconductor. Magnetoresistivity curves of 32 individual stri pe sections have been measured in a parallel field at 77 K. The sensit ivity and resolution of the magnetic field of the sensor are evaluated . A brief comparison of the magnetoresistive sensor versus the Hall pr obe is given.
