Abstract
We report the experimental characterization of multimode networks. DUT reference plane waveguides support two fundamental modes. A multimode TRL calibration is used to derive multimode S parameters. Quasi-TEM a nd first-wave simulation results are in good agreement with measuremen ts. The present work outlines an interesting feature of the multimode TRL calibration procedure.
