Abstract
A residential gardener complained of immediate stinging when a ''fuzzy tan caterpillar'' fell across his fingers. He presented with painful hemorrhagic papules on the dorsal aspect of his right hand. Lepidopter ism from contact with Megalopyge opercularis is described.
