Abstract
Conformational analysis by NOESY NMR spectroscopy and Distance Geometr y of an omega(1), selective (zolpidem) and a non selective (saripidem) ligand of omega modulatory sites suggests that the single set of conf ormations observed with zolpidem could be account for its omega, selec tive properties. The methodology applied in this study appears to be a powerful technique to explore conformational space of non-peptidic li gands of GABA, receptor subtypes. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
