Abstract
Condensation-evaporation behavior on a flat liquid surface is investig ated under nonequilibrium conditions with shock-tube experiment and mo lecular dynamics simulation. The estimated condensation coefficient de pends on the degree of nonequilibrium of the vapor; a decreases with t he increase of the degree of nonequilibrium.
