Abstract
Greater consideration of the privatization of previously public servic es is on the rise, both politically and in our social consciousness. S uch popularity has been the result of a number of interrelated factors , not the least of which is our increasingly anti-union, anti-governme nt, and anti-tax political climate. This climate has created fertile g round into which the seeds of privatization can be fairly easily sown. Whether these seeds actually grow or should grow depends on a number of factors, many of which have not been studied with enough depth to j ustify their cultivation.
