Abstract
This paper introduces a design methodology which defines a safe R.F. o perating area for reliable Monolithic Microwave Power Amplifiers. For this purpose, we have conducted extensive reliability evaluation tests (end of life) under temperature, D.C. and R.F. accelerating stress co nditions. A reliability indicator is proposed to insure reliability by design. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
