Inspite of the fact that organizational communication has been more an
d more recognized during the recent years, there has been no German qu
estionnaire for its systematic assessment in organizations. Therefore
- inspired by the ''Organizational Communication Questionnaire'' (Robe
rts & O'Reilly, 1974 a) - a ''Questionnaire for the Assessment of Comm
unication in Organizations'' (KomminO) has been developed. On the basi
s of a factoranalytic dataanalysis 7 scales were confirmed: quality of
communication, feedback, trust, importance of communication, informat
ion overload, summarization and gatekeeping. Each one of the scales re
fers to the communication with the superior, with colleagues, and with
subordinates.
