Abstract
The analysis of histamine in fish and fish products via competitive EL ISA is described. The advantages of this method are easy sample prepar ation and handling, screening capabilities, and low costs. Automation enables the performance of the assay with higher series of samples. Th e Histamine-ELISA is useful for monitoring food quality.
