Abstract
This paper presents a mathematical model to estimate optimum life cycl e cost of an equipment with known mean time to failure and mean time t o repair. In addition, several equipment labour cost estimation models are presented when mean time to failure and mean time to repair follo w distributions such as exponential, Rayleigh, Weibull and gamma.
