Abstract
An analysis of existing experimental results, performed to pinpoint th e flow physics of slender wing rock, especially in regard to the roles played by vortex liftoff and vortex breakdown, revealed that the infl uence of roll-rate-induced conical camber as well as of model support and wind-tunnel wall interference could be surprisingly large.
