Abstract
This study examines single and multiple sourcing of products. A scale, the sourcing preference (SP) scale, is developed to measure purchasin g manager attitudes towards either single or multiple sourcing. The sc ale is then used to determine differences in selected demographic and organizational characteristics between purchasing managers who have a preference for single sourcing and those who have a preference for mul tiple sourcing.
