Abstract
A new synchrotron data acquisition simultaneous multiwavelength anomal ous (SMAD), employing a variable bandwidth curved crystal monochromato r (polychromator) coupled with an energy-selecting grid plate is descr ibed. The SMAD experiment demonstrates the ability to measure reflecti ons at six different wavelengths and their Bijvoet pairs at the same t ime. On one diffraction image, both the dispersive and Bijvoet informa tion is recorded from a myoglobin crystal for multiwavelength anomalou s diffraction (MAD) phasing.
