Three types of passivated surfaces were measured with a method of low
temperature measurement of conductivity and the Hall coefficient-elect
rochemically prepared native sulfides, e-gun evaporated ZnS, and a com
bination of both these layers. From the obtained R(H)(T) and sigma(T)
curves (300 K > T > 4.2 K), it is obvious that galvanomagnetic propert
ies of all three types of passivated surfaces are strongly dependent o
n the storage time. Several surface parameters are calculated by a sol
ution of the Poisson equation-surface field E(s), surface potential ps
i(s), and band bending psi(x).
