Abstract
Problems of construction of the holographic Fourier transform lens are described. The holographic lens recorded on a spherical substrate by two perfect recording wave fronts originated from two axial point sour ces, is considered. To minimize the aberrations, Abbe's sine condition for chief and axial rays of object at infinity, is satisfied. Therefo re, the telecentric readout geometry in the image space, is presented. A major problem is to eliminate possibly all aberrations, especially distortion for high values of spatial frequencies. It was shown the ad vantage of curved holographic lens which could be applied to the Fouri er transform operation.
