Abstract
The study discussed in this article revealed that a group of 30 hospit al CEOs and a group of 32 general business CEOs shared similar work-re lated personality traits. Differences were found an only 2 of 20 trait s: Hospital CEOs were significantly less ''interested in working with details'' and had a lower ''need for rules and supervision.'' However, both groups of CEOs' personalities were different From those of manag ers in general.
