Abstract
Zn1-xMgxSe mixed crystals for 0 < x < 0.56 have been grown by high pre ssure Bridgman method. The dependence of lattice constant, luminescenc e and electrical properties on Mg concentrations has been investigated . The crystals with different x exhibit orange and green (deep levels) as well as blue and UV (near-band-edge) luminescence in the temperatu re range from 40 K to room temperature. The influence of doping with a luminium and iodine on electrical and luminescent properties has been investigated for the first time.
