Abstract
This paper reports the fabrication and optical properties of a series of quantum dots of similar to 30-130 nm diameter dry etched from three different CdTe/CdMnTe quantum wells, The effects of etching condition s on the physical profile and optical properties of the dots were inve stigated, Both strain relaxation and quasi-parabolic lateral quantum c onfinement were observed in the dots.
