Abstract
We report on optically detected spin-glass freezing in CdTe/(Cd,Mn)Te superlattices and (Cd,Mn)Te/(Cd,Mg)Te single quantum wells. The result s on the first are compared with SQUID magnetometry on the same sample s. The frequency dependence of the spin-glass freezing temperature for a superlattice was measured over the range 4 Hz-32 kHz and analyzed i n terms of a power law. The result for the exponent z nu = 6.3+/-1.5 i s significantly lower than values reported for bulk material.
