Calibration of optical 3d-sensors is required because of their complex
ity and due to the variable field of view. In most cases it is not pos
sible to produce a well calibrated 3d-sensor. The errors introduced by
the calibration procedure should be much smaller than the statistical
errors of the system which have physical reasons. We show a simple st
rategy for calibration of 3d-sensors, which fulfills this task and whi
ch can be used for different sensor types.
