Abstract
Macromolecular crystallographic data collection is increasingly and mo re routinely performed at temperatures around 100 K. At these temperat ures, radiation damage is greatly reduced and so the possibility of st oring and reusing crystals exists. A simple device for the transfer of cryocooled crystals into and out of the data-collection position is d escribed.
