Abstract
PbGeO3 was found to undergo a sequence of structural phase transitions at high pressures and temperatures. In the PbGeO3-PbZrO3 system, we o btained a continuous series of metastable solid solutions with a perov skite structure persisting up to 700-800 K at ambient pressure. PbZrxG e1-xO3 metastable perovskites are ferroelectrics exhibiting similar co mposition dependences of Curie temperature and lattice parameters.
