Abstract
A large body of literature data on the synthesis and properties of bis muth compounds with layered perovskite-related structure was examined to reveal correlations of the Curie temperature with the crystalchemic al parameters of constituent ions and the structural properties of per ovskites. The dependences of t(C) on the radii and electronegativities of A and B ions as well as on the unit-cell parameters are analyzed.
