Abstract
Various professional associations have called for greater exposure of students to multiculturalism and internationalization. We describe a p rogram for summer study in a developing country (Nepal) to meet these goals. The program also meets other objectives such as active learning , structuring learning communities, and developing higher-order thinki ng skills. We provide details about preprogram activities, the program itself, and postprogram activities.
