Dielectric properties of SnS2 single crystals have for the first time
been studied. Single crystals of SnS2 were obtained by the physical va
pour transport method. The observed variation of dielectric constant e
psilon' and dissipation factor tan delta, as a function of temperature
in the range 300-520 K and of frequency in the range 10(2)-10(5) Hz,
have been interpreted in the light of existing theories.
