Abstract
The scanning near-field optical probe technique has made it possible t o perform conventional optical spectroscopies with unprecedented spati al resolution. We present the development of an instrument for scannin g near-field Raman spectroscopy and present near-field Raman linescans and spectra of a range of materials with subwavelength resolution.
