Abstract
A simple and low cost method for fabricating different kinds of micros pheres, using a high temperature spouting device, is presented. As an example, the process for making KNbO3 single crystal ferroelectric mic rospheres is detailed in this letter. Two-dimensional structures of el ectrorheological fluid composed of KNbO3 microspheres under an low ele ctric field was observed. Some optical experiments with different kind s of microspheres made by this method have also been performed.
