Abstract
Inorganic nested fullerene-like particles of layered compound WS2 were observed by high resolution transmission electron microscopy. It is s hown, for the first time, that these structures can be nucleated insid e the amorphous matrix at room temperature. At this condition the nucl eation process may take 3-4 years.
