The possibility of controlling pore size in high-temperature aluminosi
licate supports by introducing pore formers (sawdust, polyvinyl alcoho
l) and choosing the starting aluminous materials is studied. Optimal c
onditions for preparing high-temperature (1270-1820 K) supports with t
he desired porous structure (fine-pored, polydisperse, and coarse-pore
d) are established.
